Do you have some questions?
We have some answers!
Q & A
Q1. What is Learnlife Rwanda?
A venture-building enterprise in Kigali. We build and grow commercially sustainable ventures — and we train the next generation of Rwandan builders inside them.
Q2. What is the Talent Programme?
A 12-month, full-time entrepreneurial apprenticeship for around 10 selected interns who work inside our ventures while learning governance, financial literacy, and leadership — designed to grow you into a salaried member of the team.
Q3. Who can apply?
Rwandan graduates and skilled adults with a passion for entrepreneurship — all backgrounds welcome. We select for commitment and the desire to build, not for credentials.
Q4. Does the programme cost anything?
No fees, no loans, no catch. It is funded through our own ventures. You earn your place through commitment, not payment.
Q5. What will I actually do?
Real work in real ventures: brewing and serving at Sip & Chat, advising clients with Ingamba Consultancy, building Wander Rwanda Tours, creating with Tangaza Media Studio, Urubuto Art, and Rwanda Village Tales — plus structured learning sessions each week.
Q6. How is this different from a course — or a job?
It is both an apprenticeship and an audition. Unlike a course, you carry real responsibility from week one. Unlike a job, the explicit goal is your growth into a founder or a leader.
Q7. What happens at the end of the twelve months?
Two doors open: some interns grow into salaried positions within Learnlife Rwanda; others launch ventures of their own, carrying the skills, confidence, and network they built here. Either outcome is a win.
Q8. Why did the programme change?
We used to run a part-time programme where participants built their own startups in teams. We learned an honest lesson: asking people to build companies part-time, unpaid, while supporting their families, sets them up to struggle. So we became the startup ourselves — and now we train builders inside a working enterprise.
Q9. What mindsets will I develop?
An expansive mindset (seeing opportunity where others see obstacles), a fail-forward mindset (treating setbacks as data), financial literacy, and the habits of trust-based teamwork.
Q10. How do I apply?
Through the form on the Apply Today page. Tell us honestly who you are and what you want to build — selection is rigorous, and we read every application.
